A proud Boston native and a single mother to two incredible souls, I've built a life that many dream about but few dare to pursue. In 2017, I took a leap of faith, embarking on a nomadic lifestyle with nothing but a one-way ticket to Southeast Asia in my hand. This bold move opened the doors to a world I now call my office, spanning over 50 countries across four continents, and laying the foundation for a flourishing travel consulting business.
My travels, from the ancient paths of Thailand to the bustling energy of Mexico City, have been more than mere escapades. They've been transformative experiences that have deepened my understanding of the world and my place within it. These journeys have underscored the importance of cultural immersion, the undeniable beauty of human connections, and the life-changing magic of venturing into the unknown.
As the CEO and founder of Black In Tulum, I've created a haven in Tulum, Mexico, amidst the pandemic's peak, offering melanated travelers a sanctuary of safety and inclusivity. Driven by a desire to uplift and unite, I am dedicated to inspiring Gen X professionals to master the art of manifestation. My commitment to fostering unity shines through in my advocacy for women of color, encouraging them to embrace global exploration fearlessly. Being a woman of color over 40 myself, I resonate with the unique hurdles we encounter in travel and am devoted to empowering women to chase their wanderlust dreams, breaking free from any age or background constraints.
